I work as a Network Administrator II at Memorial Medical Center, where I provide support to end users, administer Active Directory and Exchange, and perform other general network administration tasks.
In the tech world, I love scripting, PowerShell, Vim, Firefox, FOSS, Google, and Android. I am also endlessly fascinated with the Linux/Unix world, although I'm not as experienced in it as I would like.
In life, I love travel, photography, music, and coffee.
One of my favorite things in the world is waking up in the middle of the night on a cross-country Amtrak train, passing through some strange city on the way to anywhere. The lights flashing past outside the window, the distant horn of your own engine somewhere ahead, the clickity-clack of the rails underneath the wheels.
